Looking for a Different Effect for Your Printed Products?
Corporate Identity can take another step toward being unique or memorable with the use of embossing, foil or a combination of the two, whether used on business cards, letterhead or other corporate materials.
Embossing – This is the process of actually raising the surface of the paper by use of a custom die, either alone (blind embossing) or underneath ink or foils. This is a way to add actual dimension to your image.
De-bossing – The opposite of embossing, where the impression made by a die presses into the paper.
Foil Stamping - We create a custom die for stamping shiny or matte metallics or colors of foil on your pieces, either alone, or in combination with embossing, de-bossing, and/or printing.
Engraving – This is a form of printing using a custom die for your information, which creates a slight depression into the paper as ink is applied. This can be used for business cards, letterhead, etc. (For today’s invitations, especially wedding invitations, the alternative is printing with thermographic inks, creating a quite desirable effect at a more affordable price).

All of these processes require creation of custom dies for the process, which may be used alone, or in combination with printing. These dies can be used repeatedly over many re-prints, often for years. They are worth the investment for a classy and unique look. |
